Eczema & Psoriasis

Struggling to calm stubborn flare-ups?

Flare-ups can disrupt daily comfort and confidence, making it hard to focus on anything else. While topical treatments may help, they often do not address underlying triggers. Many seek options that support the skin and immune system from within.

Support Skin Health and Comfort Naturally

Targeted support for skin.

Many people living with eczema and psoriasis experience cycles of irritation, dryness, and discomfort that can be difficult to manage with topical care alone. The DRIPBaR offers IV therapies designed to deliver nutrients that support skin barrier repair, immune balance, and hydration. These therapies may help reduce the frequency and intensity of flare-ups by addressing inflammation and oxidative stress. By focusing on the body’s internal environment, clients can pursue more consistent skin comfort and clarity.

At The DRIPBaR Burleson, our approach combines nutrient-rich infusions and supportive care to help you manage chronic skin inflammation. Each session is tailored to your needs, with wellness experts providing guidance and monitoring throughout. If you are ready to explore a holistic strategy for your skin, book your appointment today.

Did you know?

Eczema and psoriasis often flare due to stress, allergens, or weather changes, affecting both comfort and confidence.

Understanding Eczema & Psoriasis

Eczema & Psoriasis are chronic inflammatory skin conditions that can cause significant discomfort and visible changes to the skin. Eczema is often linked to immune hypersensitivity and a weakened skin barrier, while psoriasis involves an overactive immune response that speeds up skin cell turnover. Both conditions can result in dry, itchy, or scaly patches that may appear anywhere on the body. These symptoms can disrupt daily life and impact emotional well-being.

Common triggers include stress, environmental irritants, allergens, infections, and dietary factors. Managing these conditions typically involves a combination of topical care, lifestyle adjustments, and sometimes systemic medications. Recognizing triggers and responding early can help reduce the severity and frequency of flare-ups. Integrative approaches, such as nutrient support, may offer additional relief alongside standard treatments.

Symptoms of Eczema & Psoriasis

When eczema flares, you may notice dry, red, and itchy patches that often appear in skin folds or on the face. These areas can become irritated by scratching, leading to further discomfort and sometimes infection. Persistent itching can interfere with sleep and daily activities, making it challenging to focus or relax. Over time, repeated flare-ups may cause the skin to thicken or change texture.

Psoriasis typically presents as raised plaques covered with silvery-white scales, most commonly on the scalp, elbows, knees, or lower back. These plaques can be itchy or sore and may crack or bleed if aggravated. Some people experience joint pain or swelling, a condition known as psoriatic arthritis. The visible nature of these symptoms can affect self-esteem and social interactions.

Both eczema and psoriasis can be unpredictable, with periods of remission followed by sudden flare-ups. Triggers such as stress, infections, or changes in weather often play a role in symptom recurrence. Managing these conditions requires ongoing attention to skin care, lifestyle, and potential environmental factors. Early intervention and a comprehensive approach can help minimize discomfort and improve quality of life.

Traditional Treatments

Traditional management of eczema and psoriasis often starts with topical therapies, such as corticosteroid creams and moisturizers, to reduce inflammation and soothe the skin. In more persistent cases, doctors may recommend immunosuppressive medications, phototherapy, or biologic agents to target underlying immune activity. These treatments can help control symptoms and prevent flare-ups, but they may carry potential side effects or require ongoing monitoring.

Supportive care also includes identifying and avoiding individual triggers, maintaining a gentle skin care routine, and addressing stress or lifestyle factors that contribute to flare-ups. Some people explore integrative options, such as dietary changes or nutrient supplementation, to complement their primary treatment plan. Regular follow-up with healthcare providers helps ensure that care remains effective and adapts to changing needs. Combining multiple strategies can offer the best chance for long-term comfort and skin health.

How IV Therapy May Help

IV therapy at The DRIPBaR provides targeted nutrients and antioxidants that support skin barrier repair, immune function, and hydration. By delivering these elements directly into the bloodstream, this approach may help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress associated with chronic skin conditions. Wellness experts oversee each session, ensuring safety and individualized care. Many clients find that this method complements their existing routines and offers an additional layer of support.

While IV therapy is not a cure, it can be a valuable part of a holistic strategy for managing eczema and psoriasis. The focus is on addressing internal factors that contribute to flare-ups, such as nutrient deficiencies or immune imbalances. This approach is designed to work alongside traditional treatments and healthy lifestyle habits. Clients often report improvements in skin comfort, hydration, and overall well-being over time.

I was recommended to come here from my NP. I had severe dehydration and other ailments. I spoke with Alyssa on the phone on the way there and she had me booked in and ready within 20 minutes. Which for anything medical that's fast. I was told upfront about the service rendered as well as prices. We both agreed the full bag was beneficial as I was about to leave on vacation and needed all the help I could get. Alyssa suggested a few more things to add to my Restoration bag. As I sat in the sauna getting my WebMD meeting completed, Maggie came in and explained all the next steps and made sure I was comfortable. She then got the IV in and I was ready to go. Very painless. I am a Red Cross donor and very frequently donate blood. Maggie has a very soft touch when hitting the vein. The bag took roughly 45 to 55 mins to complete. Very great experience. And if I ever feel bad again from this TX heat I know where to go. 10/10 would recommend.

I was feeling so rundown and feeling like I was starting to come on sick And the ladies at DRIP BAR Burleson were so kind and helped me find out what drip would be right for me. They put me in the salt sauna which was 10 out of 10. Cannot recommend that enough and got me my perfect drip which was the restoration one I believe and I left there feeling better already. Over the past couple of days, I can definitely tell a difference and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Cannot recommend all of the ladies there enough they make you feel so comfortable and also stick you perfect on the 1st try! Because let’s be honest, there’s nothing worse than somebody who cannot do an IV and all the ladies there are 10/10 for that. If you’re feeling rundown, hungover, or feeling like you’re about to start becoming sick, go see the girls at DRIP BAR Burleson. Thank you girls!

I came here after I went on a vacation and got sick from the travel and exposure to a wildfire. I felt so very taken care of and the allergy package I got really helped me finish the healing process faster. I really felt taken care of and being checked in on after treatment just added to that experience. Definitely recommend.

FAQs About Eczema & Psoriasis

How can I protect the progress made with my treatment?

To maintain improvements, it is important to follow your care plan and avoid known triggers. Consistent skin care, stress management, and regular hydration can help sustain results. Nutrient support may provide ongoing benefits for skin and immune health. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your routine.
If your skin stops responding to treatments or flare-ups become more frequent, you may be experiencing a plateau. Persistent dryness, itching, or scaling despite ongoing care can also indicate slowed progress. Tracking changes in your symptoms can help identify patterns. Discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider to adjust your plan as needed.
Seasonal shifts in temperature, humidity, and allergens can trigger flare-ups or worsen symptoms. Dry winter air may increase irritation, while pollen in spring can provoke immune responses. Adjusting your skin care routine and staying hydrated can help manage these effects. Monitoring your symptoms through the seasons supports proactive care.
Quality sleep supports the body’s natural repair processes, including skin regeneration. Poor sleep can increase inflammation and make flare-ups more likely. Establishing a regular sleep schedule may help improve skin resilience. Prioritizing rest is a key part of holistic skin management.
Managing itching can reduce skin damage and lower the risk of infection. Over time, this helps preserve skin integrity and comfort. Consistent control of symptoms may also improve sleep and emotional well-being. Early intervention is important for long-term skin health.
Wellness services, such as nutrient infusions and stress reduction techniques, can complement your existing treatment plan. These approaches may help address internal triggers and support overall health. Discussing options with your healthcare provider ensures they fit your needs. Integrating multiple strategies often leads to better outcomes.
Pairing antioxidants with vitamins and minerals can help reduce inflammation and promote skin healing. Nutrients like vitamin C, zinc, and magnesium support tissue repair and immune balance. Combining these elements may enhance your skin’s resilience. Always consult a professional before starting new supplements.
A balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants supports skin health and immune function. Eating whole foods, staying hydrated, and avoiding known dietary triggers can complement your treatment. Nutrient infusions may offer additional support for those with specific needs. Consult your provider for personalized guidance.
Consistently managing redness can help prevent chronic irritation and skin thickening. Over time, this may lead to improved comfort and appearance. Reducing inflammation also supports overall skin health. Early and ongoing care is key to maintaining results.
Using gentle cleansers, moisturizing regularly, and protecting skin from harsh weather can enhance the effects of vitamin C. Eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables provides additional antioxidant support. Managing stress and avoiding irritants also play a role. Combining these practices helps maintain healthy skin.
